My Goal Statement
Teaching is a career that constantly expects us as educators to grow academically, socially, and emotionally each and everyday. Being a Learning Support Teacher at the Elementary level has brought so much joy to my life. I finally feel as though I have a purpose. My goal is to have each and everyone of my students grow inside and out over the course of time I get to work with them. My goal is to maximize instructional time for all learners from any given ability or disability. By holding expectations high for all, there is no stopping what students can do. I have come to find that by raising the bar high, my students will come to meet their expectations and persevere towards goals they set. By having technology at our fingertips, there is no stopping what students can do. I have learned so many different ways for students to display their understanding of material in many creative, educational ways! This course has helped me to better decide how to use technology accordingly in class.
